Astinder Singh (24), from village Chak Bilga in Banga Block, had a love affair with a girl who was married off to an NRI.
Now a mother of a child, she had recently come to meet her parents after her marriage.
On seeing her, the lover went into a tizzy and got so frustrated at the fresh memories of his unrequited love that he amputated his sexual organ, the police said.
