The Pubescent Roots of Teasing & Denial
Freud thought that sexual fetishes were the result of childhood castration anxiety. He limited fetishes to men, which of course, is absurd (as I can attest to based on my growing female clientele). Yet, I can't help but wonder a decade later if Freud wasn't half-right. I've noticed -- based on my conversations with male submissives -- that many of their fetishes (including teasing and denial) were formed between the fourth and the eight grades. Again, I would maintain that in terms of physical abilities, girls and boys are relatively equal until those male sex hormones start to kick in around the fifth or sixth grade. Yet many of my submissives have admitted that despite becoming physically stronger than girls, they always felt at a disadvantage mentally, sexually and intellectually. Looking back, I'm always amazed at how readily big, strong sixth grade boys tolerated kicks to the crotch and general brattiness out of female classmates. In fact, they seemed to gravitate toward pushy girls -- many of whom were themselves struggling with how to fit into the more strictly defined gender roles that you were expected to follow once you grew breasts and filled out in the hips.
